Insulators & Bushings

Araldite® systems are designed to produce insulators with high cantilever strength, and bushings with low partial discharge levels and excellent sealing properties, when used in a SF6 gas environment. For outdoor applications, outstanding weathering resistance is required.

Araldite® cycloaliphatic outdoor systems are backed by 40 years of service experience. Araldite® HCEP (hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy) systems reduce current leakage due to their hydrophobic properties, and therefore further improve reliability and extend the life expectancy of insulators.
