Switchgears

Araldite® casting systems for switchgear parts provide medium to high glass transition temperature (Tg) and high resistance to mechanical creeping because of gas pressure in gas-insulated substation (GIS) parts. In order to increase productivity, Araldite® NPC systems have been developed, which do not require a post cure cycle. For outdoor applications, outstanding weathering resistance is required. Araldite® cycloaliphatic outdoor systems are backed by 40 years of service experience. Araldite® HCEP systems reduce current leakage due to the hydrophobic properties, and therefore further improve reliability and extend the life expectancy of switchgears.
