Aerospace Edge & Void Fillers

Huntsman Advanced Materials supplies the aerospace market with a full range of Epocast® lightweight, durable edge and void fillers. Each of our materials in the Huntsman aerospace product line is formulated to meet the specific handling and performance requirements of aircraft manufacturers, as well as repair and modification facilities.

Epocast® Edge and Void Fillers provide lightweight, extrudable and pumpable filling compounds designed for filling mismatch areas, voids, and reinforcing honeycomb core. Epoxy void fillers are low density materials capable of resisting compressive loads. With densities ranging from 0.48 to 1.80, they do not offer a weight penalty in the structure. Void fillers are used in both structural and non‐structural applications in aircraft to reinforce certain areas of honeycomb against compressive load.
